The move, in four steps
- Save the state before you lose the session. While the first AI still answers, run the job through Zambo once: journal the goal, the decisions, and where the work stands, or package it as a handover. Every entry is saved server side with a receipt, not in the chat that is about to cut you off.
- Open the other AI. Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini: whichever still has room. There is nothing to install; you connect the same endpoint.
- Connect one link. Add https://zambo.dev/mcp as the MCP server or connector in the new AI. One link, the same one every AI uses.
- Recall and continue. Ask the new AI to recall the job from Zambo and continue from the saved state. It picks up the goal, the steps already done, and their receipts, and its own work joins the same record.
Why this works when copy-paste does not
Copying the chat transcript into a new AI moves words, and loses the parts that matter: which results were real tool outputs, what was already verified, and where exactly the work stopped. Work saved through Zambo is a record, not a transcript: the new AI recalls the job's actual state, and each finished step carries its receipt, an agent receipt is a record of one ai agent tool call that anyone can check: it keeps the exact saved bytes and their sha-256 digest, and it proves the result was not changed since it was saved, not that it was right. So the second AI is not trusting the first AI's summary. It is reading the record.
What it costs
Continuity through Zambo starts free: 20 free calls per day, which covers the save-and-recall move for most tasks. The Day Pass is $0.99 for 24 hours of full use; the Zambo Pass is $29 for 30 days, one payment, or $290 for 365 days, and $19 for 30 days for $ZAMBO holders. Start at zambo.dev/add.
Frequently asked questions
What do I do when my AI hits its usage limit mid-task?
Save the job's state through Zambo before the session closes, then open a different AI, connect https://zambo.dev/mcp, and recall the job there. The work continues from the saved record instead of starting over, and the steps already done keep their receipts.
Do I need to install anything to move a task to another AI?
No. Zambo is one hosted MCP endpoint, https://zambo.dev/mcp. In the new AI you add that one link as a connector or MCP server, and the job you saved is there. Nothing is installed on your machine.
What exactly is saved when I move a task?
The job's record: the goal, the journal entries and decisions saved along the way, the outputs of finished steps, and a verifiable receipt for each call. The receiving AI recalls that record, not a pasted summary, so it can tell what was actually done from what was only said.
What is an agent receipt?
An agent receipt is a record of one ai agent tool call that anyone can check: it keeps the exact saved bytes and their sha-256 digest, and it proves the result was not changed since it was saved, not that it was right.
Can I move a task from Claude to ChatGPT, or the other way?
Yes, in either direction, and to Grok, Gemini, Cursor, and the other supported AIs as well. The record lives server side at the one endpoint, so any AI connected to it reads the same job. HANDOVER, Zambo's flagship, packages the whole job as one link a person or another agent can accept.
