Four Clients, Three AIs, One Page That Shows the Whole Day's Record
A consultant's end-of-day problem, solved: one daily view of the saved record of the day across every client, each step with a receipt, plus memory that carries work between AIs.
# Four Clients, Three AIs, One Page That Shows the Whole Day's Record
It is 6 p.m. and a client writes the sentence every consultant knows by heart: "Quick update on today?" The work genuinely happened. It happened across four engagements, in Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, in tabs that have already been closed, under prompts nobody saved. So the next half hour goes to archaeology: scrolling chat histories, reconstructing which draft belonged to which client, and writing a status email that is, if everyone is honest, a story told from memory about work that was supposed to be the verifiable kind.
Multiply that by every client, every day, and the consultant's real unpaid job appears: reconstructing the saved record of the day from scattered chats, then sharing it. The work is billable. Reconstructing the saved record is overhead, and it gets weaker the busier the practice gets, because busy days are exactly the days nobody can reconstruct.
One page for the whole day
Zambo's Today view is the boring, complete answer: https://zambo.dev/today shows the saved record of the work run through Zambo that day, in order, across clients and across tools, with a verifiable receipt attached to every step. Work runs through one MCP endpoint, https://zambo.dev/mcp, so the day accumulates in one place as it happens instead of being reassembled at 6 p.m. Each step shows what ran, what it returned, and the receipt that lets anyone check the record was not changed after the fact.
Yesterday's question gets yesterday's page: the view is dated, so "what did Tuesday look like" is a link, not an investigation. And the view can be shared as a private link, which is the difference between telling a client the day went well and handing them the record of the day. They open it, they see the steps, they check whatever they want to check. The status email shrinks to one line and a link, and it stops being a story.
Memory is the other half of the day
The second leak in a multi-client practice is context trapped in one chat window. A research thread starts in one AI because it was open, the drafting happens in another because the client prefers its tone, and the handoff between the two is the consultant, copying and pasting like a human API.
Zambo's memory closes that leak. Facts, session state, and working context can be remembered through the same endpoint and recalled from a different AI later, so a job started in Claude in the morning can be picked up in ChatGPT after lunch with its context intact. For a consultant the value is not novelty, it is continuity across engagements: each client's work carries forward day to day, inside the right engagement, instead of living in whichever tab happened to host it.
You can see the raw material this produces in the live demo at https://zambo.dev/demo/ , where a real job runs and writes its receipts on the spot. Today is what a full day of that looks like, collected. More on the receipt format underneath it all lives on the AER-1 hub: https://rambozambodotdev.gitlab.io/aer1-hub/
The end-of-day routine, after
The routine that replaces the archaeology takes about a minute. Open Today. Skim the day for anything that should not be there, the same way you would skim a timesheet. Send the client their link. When a delivery needs a formal sign-off rather than a daily view, the same receipts gather into a handover packet the client accepts or flags, which is the delivery-grade version of the same record.
Billing conversations change temperature when they start from a record. "You are charging me for a day of AI work" meets a page where the day is itemized, step by step, each step checkable. Disagreement moves to the work itself, where it belongs, instead of to reconstructing what the saved record contains.
Cost and limits, plainly
Every tool carries a free tier (up to 20 free calls per metered tool per day, varying by tool). When the day's work has to be on the record, the Day Pass is the $0.99 answer: 24 hours, no subscription, no auto-renew. The Zambo Pass is $29 a month. The receipts are AER-1, an open format published as an IETF Internet-Draft (draft-zambo-aer1-23), verifiable offline.
The honest limit: the page proves the saved record of the day was not changed since it was saved. It does not prove the work was good. Judgment about the work stays where it has always been, with the consultant and the client. What the page removes is the reconstruction work underneath every engagement: the saved record of the steps is there to share and check, unchanged since it was saved.
