Add Zambo MCP to Cline

Paste https://zambo.dev/mcp into Cline's MCP settings and reload. Open cline_mcp_settings.json from the Cline MCP Servers panel, add the Zambo entry below with the streamable HTTP transport, save, and let Cline reconnect. Cline then has Zambo: 153 tools in total, 35 on the default surface, and a checkable receipt for every tool call.

Want to see what you are adding first? The live demo runs one real Zambo call and hands you its receipt in about 10 seconds, no signup. Check any receipt free at zambo.dev/verify.

The config snippet

In Cline, open the MCP Servers panel and choose the option to configure MCP servers, which opens cline_mcp_settings.json. Add this entry, keeping any servers you already have:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zambo": {
      "url": "https://zambo.dev/mcp",
      "transportType": "streamable-http",
      "disabled": false
    }
  }
}

The transportType matters: Zambo is a remote HTTP server, not a local command, so there is no command or args block to add.

Verify the connection

Save the settings file and Cline reconnects on its own in most cases; if it does not, toggle the server off and on in the MCP Servers panel. Zambo should show as connected with its tools listed and no error badge. An error at this step is almost always a JSON problem in the settings file, so check commas and braces first.

Your first tool call

Ask Cline for something small and checkable, for example: ask it to use Zambo to look up a current price or audit a web page. The answer comes back with a receipt link. Open the receipt page, then paste its ID into zambo.dev/verify: the check confirms the saved result was not changed after the fact.

For $0.99, a Day Pass covers 24 hours of full use. Ongoing use is the Zambo Pass at $29 a month or $290 a year, and $19 a month for $ZAMBO holders. Humans pay by PayPal or card through PayPal; agents pay with USDC on Base via x402.

Troubleshooting

Honest limits

Cline supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP, which is what this config uses; very old Cline versions that only support local servers cannot connect this way and need an update first. Zambo receipts prove the saved result of a tool call was not changed after the fact. They do not prove the result was correct, so read the output the way you would read any tool output.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add Zambo MCP to Cline?

Open the Cline MCP Servers panel, choose configure MCP servers to open cline_mcp_settings.json, and add a zambo entry under mcpServers with url set to https://zambo.dev/mcp, transportType set to streamable-http, and disabled set to false. Save and let Cline reconnect. Zambo then appears with 153 tools in total and 35 on the default surface.

Does Cline need a command to run Zambo?

No. Zambo is a hosted remote server, so the entry has a url and a transportType and no command, args, or env block. If you see a config example with a command, that example is for a locally run server, which Zambo is not.

How do I verify Zambo is connected in Cline?

Look for zambo in the MCP Servers panel with a connected state and its tools listed, then run one small call and open the receipt link in the result. Pasting that receipt ID into zambo.dev/verify and getting a match confirms the full path from Cline to a checkable record is working.

What do I get once Zambo is connected to Cline?

Cline gains Zambo tools for prices, web checks, lead work, memory, handover, and more, and every tool call returns a public receipt page. Memory saved through Zambo is stored server-side, so context saved in Cline can be recalled later in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Grok when they are connected to the same Zambo account.

How much does Zambo cost in Cline?

You can start on the free tier. A Day Pass costs $0.99 one time for 24 hours of full use. The Zambo Pass is $29 a month or $290 a year, and $19 a month for $ZAMBO holders. Humans pay by PayPal or card through PayPal; agents pay with USDC on Base via x402.
